I just entered a cake into the Wilton contest....deadline is midnight ET tonight....whew.....just made it!
I wish that I could post the photo...but they don't want you to until the contest is over......all I can say is that I spent many wee morning hours sculpting and painting and all that good stuff!!!
Grand prize is $5000 plus the 2-week Wilton master course!

I'm pretty sure it just says can't be entered in any other nationwide contest. I haven't seen where you can't post your pic. Good luck though!

You can post your picture, just not one you entered in a contest. I wrote Wilton about the bass cake I did. I told them I had posted it on a cake site just to get some feed back on it. They said for me to send it in to them. By the way good luck to you.

I did post the same picture that I sent them.......oh gosh...their rules didn't say anything about the photo being the same....do you think it will effect anything? Now I'm nervous. Shoot! BTW...I sent in my entry to Wilton about 10pm on the 30th so I was safe. I posted it here a day later. Thanks everyone!

Secondly, Shelbysyummys, the time that appears on your posts is the time zone that you have selected in your settings. Jackie has made mention of this before, but I am not sure where. You may need to select your time zone in your settings for CC. That may be why you are seeing the wrong time.
Ask Jackie or one of the moderators if you need some help.

So...I have read about two others from this wonderful website that have entered the Wilton contest. Are there any more? Wouldn't it be wonderful if we placed first, second & third? I don't know why I'm so excited...I guess cause it's my first.....
