Hello

When my cake started to condensate i used cornstarch and continued with the fondant. Now to cornstarch is stick to the fondant ,it is clearly visible here n there all over the cake.

Any idea how to remove it  ? It's urgent.

Maybe if you put it back in the fridge and wait until condensation is gone it'll be easier to remove the cornstarch?

Otherwise I'd try brushing it off with a mix of full fat milk and vodka.

The fresh fondant should do the trick, but if for some reason it doesn't you could try using a blush brush to brush it away, or rub on some shortening, then gently wipe it away with a paper towel.  The shininess will go away as it dries.

Thanks kakeladi ,Julia n Nancylou for your prompt reply.

The shortening idea worked .

Base tier was red which had to be decorated further so after rubbing shortening it faded a bit and after decoration it was not visible.

Next time I will be careful.

Thanks once again
