I have a question for anyone who may be able to answer.

My sister wants me to make some of those high heel cupcakes for a friends bridal shower however because she lives so far from me she wants to pick them up from me a week before the shower since ill be seeing her then and wanted to know if she could freeze  them for the week. I think it should be fine but wanted to know what others thought about doing that.

Would the cupcakes and frosting be ok if they were in a sealed tupperware container for the week in the freezer?

They will be find just let them thaw in Tupperware, I freeze cupcakes all the time a actually it makes them moister because the sugar crystals expanse in the freezer making them even better

What kind of frosting do you use? Crisco can bead up when thawing, I did a trial once to see what would happen:

Ewe no I don't use crisco. Pure buttercream for me with just butter. I usually do an Italian merengue.
