Okay so my best friend is getting married and I'm making her cake in June! She sent me this photo of the cake she wanted and i can't figure out for the life of me how to make it look like this! I've found textures similar but I really want it to be exactly what she wants! Any tips?

I saw something on youtube that looks very similar to this design. Look up ombre cakes. It might help you.

Think this may be somewhat what you are looking for :) use the horizontal motion but be more controled with your movements and more regular in yur spacing ...

It also looks like whoever did the cake started at the bottom of each tier and went up so that each "swoop" is layered over the one under it.

Thanks for all of the responses! Everything you've sent me is getting me closer and closer to that final look! The thing about this texture is that its uniformly sporadic so it's hard to make it look so effortless!
