I spent HOURS making a fun mad hatter cake for a friend.  She usually takes gorgeous photos, and I was in a hurry, so I asked her to take a photo of the cake and cake pops when it was all set up and send them to me.  

((sigh))  The pics are good, but not the closeups I SHOULD HAVE taken.  Grr.  Plus, the lighting in the church gym was weird, which I also should have known, but it made the colors odd.  

I'm grateful she sent me pics, but I should have been smarter and set up a little photo shoot prior to delivery.  It was a cool cake (if I do say so myself, lol). 

Anyway, lesson learned and just ranting.  On the plus side, thank you to those that helped me with my cake pop issues.  They certainly aren't resolved, but getting better.  Patience is a virtue!
