Hello to you too winniemog I'm new here and was trying to ask a question because I needed help but thank you very much for you warm welcome
Question a coffee mug cake has been requested normally I wld suggest using 6inch pans but they want it to accommodate 30 ppl I want to keep the realistic look any suggestions
Let's start over...Hi winniemog, I just reposted... I have an order for a coffee mug cake for 30 ppl I would normally sugguest 6inch cakes but I know that's not possible for the amt of ppl I know I must go larger I just want it to keep a realist look... Any suggestions...
Could you sit the coffee mug cake on a square or round base cake that's only say 2 inches high to look like a table or a plain white base to the mug? That provides the extra serves without adding too much work to the design.
Otherwise I'd add in extra design features eg multiple mug cakes or "cake" (cake carved and decorated in the shape of a slice of cake) with a coffee mug cake.
Depends on the client's budget and desires really.
good suggestion winnie... and I loved the joke.
