So I have a wedding booked for May she wants 120 red velvet cake pops dipped in white chocolate topped with a royal blue drizzle.  I usually stand them to dry in dollar store flower foam blocks or rings.

Client just emailed me and sent me a photo where the cake pop is sitting down rather than standing up like a lolipop if you get what I mean.

My concern is when I dip and then place on wax paper or parchment the  cake pop will have melted chocolate that forms like a small disk. i have never done cake pops dried this way is that normal will it look ok

I've done them stick up before and they looked fine. They will definitely form a "foot" as the chocolate sets. What I usually do is once I dip them and set them down, once the chocolate starts to pool, I pick them up, shake them again, and set them back down. Doing it that way eliminates that little disk at the bottom.
