I've been asked to make a death star cake for a forthcoming Star Wars party......I see Renshaws do a grey fondant but want to try to get a silver coloured fondant to use for the 'panels' on the ship.....any ideas how I could achieve that sort of colour?  I did wonder about combining black and white fondant but thought i might just end up with a different shade of grey? Many thanks in advance.  Helen

You can paint grey fondant with an edible metallic color. Rainbow Dust makes one, it has a good metallic look to it and they make it in both light silver and dark silver.
