How would you start creating this pink rose? I know how to make all the outer petals, but the first wrap is different from others. It is a "C" line, and has a rolled edge on the one side as it unfurls. I just can't figure out how to make that first petal in the pink picture. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Wrap the first petal around the bud. Tuck the edge of the second petal under the last bit of the first and wrap around, then tuck the edge of the next under the the last bit of this one and so on.
