I got a request for a wedding cake for about 70 people.  She wants it to be 3 tiers.  If i do a 6" 8" & 10", approximately how many will that serve?

Just remember to adivse your customer that you might not be able to give her the exact # of servings they want.  Just choose 2 that are the closest to the # and let them decied which size they want.
