I’d like to buy (my first) set of modeling tools (like for gum paste figures, etc), and while I’ve found SUPER cheap ones on  Amazon, the reviews stress how poor quality they are. Id really like to get a good set (about 8 or so tools with both ends a different type) that will last, plus some kind of case.

Anyone have any suggestions regarding which brand is preferable for these tools (PME, WILTON, ATECO, JEM, EXCEL, FMM,   FAT DADDIOS) as well as WHERE to find a nice set online that has a CASE?

THANKS FOR ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS!

Ateco, Fat Daddio, JEM, FMM, PME all make good products. Wilton does sometime and sometimes there stuff is expensive but cheap.

As for where to buy Amazon.com is good. Globalsugarart.com is also good as is nicholaslodge.com.

I use PME  and sell  PME in my shop.

PME, Ateco, FMM, JEM, Wilton, etc have patented their tool designs.

All those  too-cheap tools on E-bay? They're all illegal knock-offs. Don't buy them.
