Gatsby themed Birthday Cake:

I am looking for a mold, cutter or "smart way" to make those circles on the bottom tier.  I's really appreciate any input. Thank you!

You mean the little sequins? Roll out a thin layer of gumpaste, punch out a bunch of little holes spaced apart from each other using a #3 piping tip, then go back and cut larger circles around them using a #12 piping tip. You might have to pop them out of the tip with a little skewer but if you just let them dry on a cookie sheet they don't take long to dry, then you can toss them in gold luster dust. I make gumpaste sequins like that and it takes about 15 minutes to make 250 of them, it's a lot faster than you think once you get the hang of it.
