Hey all,

I am in BC, Canada and looking to order cake boxes directly from a manufacturer to save on costs as we seem to be going through way too many cake boxes these day. (what an excellent problem to have!)  Where do you get your cake boxes from.  Since I am in Canada I am hoping for a supplier in Canada to avoid exchange rates, shipping costs and duty fees.

Thanks!

I usually get my boxes at Party City, they're quite cheap and if you buy a certain amount they give you a discount.

Jeff_arnett, how have you found the shipping/brokerage fees with this company? I have looked at their site but was hesitant to order due to our currency exchange rates and UPS brokerage fees.

sweetshop5, Party City is no where near me and I have I supplier from Eastern Canada that is considerably less than Party city charges. I'm looking for more of a direct from the manufacturer type situation as we go through way too many boxes.  I just ordered 100 10x10's and 8X8s and 50 12x12's this will likely last a month or two. eek!

Honestly not sure how the charges are to Canada....the shipping here in the US is included in the price of the boxes.  If you can't find any info on their site about shipping to Canada, maybe send them an email requesting a quote.

I have always been very satisfied with their products and they ship very quickly!

Hi Jeff,

It's a completely different ball game shipping to Canada. There are import/brokerage fees, shipping charges, tax, exchange rate etc all tacked on to the price which adds a TON.  Doing business in Canada is challenging!

I found information but it was basically there will be extra charges. They dont know what they are so order at you own risk...lol..
