Well, some/most of you may know about my situation, with the hurricane and all that... well I am at my parents' house in Canada for a few months, 'till we get our lives back together, etc....

The other day my uncle came over and brought me a bunch of his old cake stuff (he is a retired cake decorator), and today my sister called me from work and said she had a cake order for me from one of her co-workers! I'm kind of nervous about it, since I don't have all my stuff anymore and I am not sure how much the ingredients are going to cost me here, since I'm in a different country and groceries are more expensive here.

I just had to share my news though, I'm so glad to be back on the board! I think cake decorating will be therapuetic (spelling??) for me.

I'm really sorry about what you've gone through in the past month but I'm glad to hear you and your family are safe. I'm sure you'll love Vancouver.
