Just Wanted To Introduce Myself

Hi my name is Michele and I am from Alabama. I have always loved baking and designing . I have just recently decided to pursue my love for decorating and baking cakes. Right now it is just a hobby but hopefully one day I will be good enough to open my own business. I am about to make my first one for my boyfriends b-day. He is into exotic animals(critters) and I thought it would be really cool to make one with tarantulas ans scorpions. Well I am definant on the tarantula. Well I was unsure what to use to make it but I am going to try fondant first and see where that goes. I really hope it turns out nice. I will post it as soon as I get it done and hopefully it will be worth looking at.

You are right, there are alot of talented people here...and everyone is always willing to help out....I haven't been here that long myself, but just like the rest of everyone here...this has became my addiction. I used to get up and get the kids ready for school and watch the morning news...Now I get them ready and log on here...who wants to see a whole bunch of bad stuff when you can come here..and start your day with a smile

Hello and welcome to cake central. When you get ready to work on your little critters think about giving the Marshmallow Fondant recipe on here a try. It works great for modeling and taste better than lots of fondant. It's also a lot less expensive.
