Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to show you guys my first attempt at making crystal monograms for cake toppers. I saw a tutorial on another cake site. Mine are made from cheap rhinestones from Michael's not the expensive ones. It wasn't really hard. I had a hard time learning to use a soldering tool, but other than it was pretty easy.
Okay, this might be a really stupid question but I would really like to know. What do the letters in the monogram stand for, for instance in the one pictured, would the small letters be the letter of their first name and the big letter be the letter of the last name?
I feel really stupid asking this question.....
Wow thats great, really neat, I would never have thought that was your first one. Well done.
Sorry Gibson I cant help you, but dont feel stupid for asking because i dont know either.
the small letters are the initials of first name the large letter in middle for last name
Hi
Actually, I used my and my husbands initials and our last name initial. J( Joe), C(Childers) and T( Tawnya).
I think it looks great! Thanks for sharing the info. I am sure I will have a need in the future. Good to add to the library of knowledge.
I checked sugarbuzz.us and can't find the directions...that site is hard to navigate compared to CC! Can you give me an idea where you clicked to find it??? TIA
Yes, it is harder to navigate but it has great info. There is a section title How'd They Do That it has demos and tricks of the trade topics. It is under demos.
