OK my husband went to his house in OH and had a great MARGARITA cake, but then the bakery got flooded and didn't open back up, now he wants it for his 30th birthday and I have never had it but he says that the icing is like a chipped icing, not a glace, has anyone had a MARGARITA cake like this? And if you would share the recipee I would love it thank you!!!!!!

Sorry..can't help you! What I make is a Margarita Cheesecake, so I know that doesn't help you! Maybe someone else will see this and have a recipe for you!

I am not sure what you mean by "chipped icing" but I did find this recipe that doesnt have a regular "glaze" ... hope this helps

I have a strawberry margarita recipe that is very good. I'm sure the glaze if from margarita salt mixed into the icing. Let me know if you want the strawberry margarita recipe.
