Thank you so much to whoever posted the tutorial on molding Thomas' face and sculpting the cake!!!!!

Came out great! I could never sculpt Thomas!!!! I need the pan, Ha HA

I was going to use the pan but it didn't come in in time to bake the cake! I went on CC and found the directions to sculpt it. It took longer than I thought, but I didn't have a lot of problems like I thought I would!

He looks just like Thomas should. You did a great job! I think that sculpting cakes are so much fun- a mess-but fun.

Just wanted to add: Wendysue, your tutorial was great! I had no real problems sculpting the cake following your directions! Even the face was easier that I thought it would be!

I truly appreciate your positive feedback. You'd be helping tremendously if you provide suggestions for ways I could better the site... so if anything comes to mind, just PM me or find my email on the blog.

Also, I was hoping that users of the tutorial might consider allowing me to highlight their cakes on my site. I have a page there reserved just for that. I'd post a photo or two with your name and city (pending your ok) and allow visitors to oowe and ah over your work! Let me know if there are any takers.
