Good morning!!

My father-in-law has asked me to do a cake for my mother-in-law's 60th birthday the 1st of October. He wants a 1/2 sheet cake and something with the effect of "you still have a lot left." or "you're not over the hill" something to that nature. I'm just having a hard time coming up with an idea. The thing is my mother-in-law also decorates cakes, so I want this to be really good.
He also wants a 1/4 sheet cake that is "from the grandkids" and I'm going to put on there something about "being the best grandma hands down!" and making it look like there are kids had prints all over the cake.
I will take any suggestions you can come up with for the 1/2 sheet. Thanks so much.

Another idea for the kids cake - when my son was in 2nd grade i had an edible image sheet and edible markers taken in and the kids got to sign the edible sheet and draw something on it and then i placed that on the cake for the teacher. you could do something like that and it would be from the kids. just an idea.

For the other cake instead of "over the hill" how about a hill with her on top and something like "still on top of it all" or something like that? you could put family things around the hill.

good luck!

I'm thinking of a fountain. As in the Fountain of Youth. With maybe a saying like "You must have found it, cuz' you got it". Maybe have a youthful looking person next to it??? thinking out loud...
