Alright looked through the board but there isnt much info. I looked at this beautiful cake and the person uses regular round pans carves the cake to make the shape.

My question is how many servings should the following cake yield after slightly carving?
Belly:
9 inch cake which is 2inch high
8 inch cake which is 2inch high
=4" high
Boobs: Each has 2 6" cakes
=4" high x2
AI've done a couple of baby bumps and I can say I never had a problem using the biggest cake used as a guideline. So, a 9" cake is 22 servings. But my cake boobs were always less high than the belly. Looks more natural I find. F.e. a 4" high belly would get 2,5-3" high boobs.
I made this one and I used a 10" x3"high pan and 2 8" x3" high pans and for the boobs I bought the sports ball pan that bakes in 2 half spheres. I used the extra shavings to fill gaps between belly and boobs. I did cover fondant in 2 halfs. Did the belly first then boobs and covered seam with the ribbon. The lady needed to serve about 35 and she said there was maybe 5 pieces left. ( i do not know how big or small the pieces were)
Thanks for the reply...so I finally made the cake with the Ikea 8" and 5" bowls. I used a double WASC recipe and used all the batter for the belly and the boobs with an 8" cake which is approx 1" high which I didnt use for the cake. So question is approx how much serving would the cake provide? My first time making the cake and dont feel like I should ask the client how many servings they get after the party. I quoted her for 20 servings and know it provides more, but need it so I can price is out more accurately for next time.
Would you mind sharing what you did charge? I have someone looking for the exact same thing for about 20 people as well.
