Anyone have any suggestions for making my fondant figures look fuzzy.  I'm making a cake with a  Dr Suess character called a Sneech on it.  It looks just a little fuzzy.  I've got several of them sculpted already and don't like the smooth look but its too late to use a tool to scratch them.  When they were soft enough to do that the necks were very floppy so I couldn't work with them too much.  Something I could sprinkle on maybe.

AWhy is it too late for a toothpick to scratch? Are they dry already? Never heard of anything you can sprinkle on for a fluffy look... If they are small maybe attached very thin sheets of fondant that you scratched with a toothpick.

Just had a look to see what a 'sneech' was and from what I can see they look more hairy than fuzzy so maybe you could mix up a paste of fondant and a little water and paint that on them, while it is still tacky use a veining tool to texture that light coating.
