aint that the truth. I was mixing cookies recently and had a big blob of Crisco on my spoon that needed to go back to the can. So I did what I've done all of my life.
I tapped the spoon on the edge of the can to pop the blob of Crisco back into the can. Kaboom it went. The oil that was sitting in a pool on top of the shortening splashed that stupid runny crap all over the place. There should not be any pools of loose and watery ANYTHING in a can of shortening. Arggghhhhhh.
