AI always purchased Hundred of dollars of wilton item! Not any more!!

14 oz 12 oz 10oz 8 oz?.candy melts I purchased 15 bags not noticing the difference in size

After making truffles none were setting up. I looked to see if there was a expired date and notice the size of each bag was different wow all that cream and melts in the trash!! Bags have always been 14 oz for years...well no candy for my party ! I will make sure I will tell people about how wilton is cheating customers! Thanks Wilton.

Wilton isn't cheating anyone.  They're doing what all of the companies are doing--rather than raising prices, they simply decrease amounts. 

It's always up to the customer to check amounts before completing a recipe.

You didn't need to throw things out.  I had a ganache recipe from a cooking website with the wrong amount of cream--too much.  When I realized the problem, I reheated the mixture and poured it over more chocolate.  It was fine.

Always ask about a possible fix before throwing product & money in the trash.
