I would like some input on anyone who has tried this recipe for decorating sugar cookies. How sweet are they? Do they keep their shape when baking? Any tips/comments would be appreciated!

I have heard many good things about this recipe. Sweetness is a subjective description-what is sweet for me might not be sweet to you.

The recipe is very similar to the one I use. It isn't too sweet, so icing doesn't put it over the top. And just a sprinkle of decorating sugar makes them terrific.

I agree. My cookies came out soft and everyone loved them. They did hold their shape.
