I need to ship a cake to a friend of mine. It will be going from Massachusetts to Florida. It's not going to be very big and will most likely be covered in MMF. I've never shipped a cake before and I wouldn't even know where to begin. Method of shipping, how to pack it...
Hello, I too will be shipping a cake covered in MMF next week, from NY to IL. This is my attack plan for it with help from a ccer. I will be putting the cake in the box and wrapping the box in saran wrap. Not sure if I can wrap the cake itself in saran wrap. So than put bubble wrap on the under side on the shipping box. Put the cake box in there, than stuff bubble wrap or peanuts around in the open space. Tape the box up and ship it out 2-3 days prioity. Good Luck and make sure you let us know how it works for you.
