AHi! I was wondering whether anyone could give me some tips on how to make the sword coming out if the cake attached? I started making it with a 50/50 fondant and gumpaste mix but I'm worried it won't set hard enough and won't be able to hold its shape? Should I use pure gumpaste mix? Please help!!!!! use some sort of wooden support structure in the centre of it. fondant/ gumpaste should work, how about modeling chocolate? good luck

Definitely have a wooden structure to it, I would use a wide bit of wood for best support - then there will be less risk, I think fondant or gumpaste will work provided adequate time to dry...
