What Would You Charge For This Cake?
Business By aggiewife12 Updated 30 May 2014 , 6:08am by SystemMod1
Of course the bride loved your cake…you only charged $250, she got the deal of the century! It could have been the ugliest cake on the planet (it is not, by the way!) and it would still be worth more than $250. I have about the same amount of experience as you, and I would charge $500. In fact, I made a cake that size and that is what I did charge.
So now you know for the next time!

In fairness this is the OP's "part time" job as observed from the thread on her other first wedding cake so perhaps pricing is not so much of an issue, perhaps the bride
was a friend.
$575.00 plus delivery. I would charge a little more than a straight forward SMBC finish to take into account the ombre colours and finishes.
Thank you for your thread, pricing has been asked many times previous on the forums, please start here:

Then I encourage you to check the stickies at the top of the business forum for pricing matrixes as well as using the search function to read the thousands of other threads dedicated to pricing.
