i found this cake & fell in LOVE with it! can someone give me ideas on how to make Minnie's face? it doesn't look like fondant to me & looks like its on a base or from a mold. suggestions????

AThat looks like the Wilton Mickey/ Minnie head pan. It has instructions inside to make it a candy plaque. I'm not sure if that is exactly how they did this one, the detail is pretty clean. But the pattern itself is from that pan

Look at my Minnie cake.  I did it with fondant.  I cut the base from black fondant and then placed the layers on top Like the dress, the gloves the shoes bow, etc.
