AI'm making a smores cake for Saturday at 1 and I was trying to get ahead of th game by filling my cakes today. Problem is I filled it with marshmallows frosting and graham crackers before I looked into the shelf life of the frosting. What do I do?? I really don't have the time or money to bake everything all over again. It looks great right now but I'm worried..
What do you mean by shelf life, is the frosting expired? or does it just need to go in the fridge?
If a product is expired I would never recommend serving it to anyone, EVER. Best thing is to make a new cake, as disappointing as that would be.
If it's just a matter of refrigerating, you can put in in the fridge overnight and take it out a couple hours before it has to be served.
If you do have to remake it, here is an easy and relatively inexpensive (has no butter) marshmallow frosting recipe:

Good Luck!
AI don't mean expired at all lol I just was wondering how long the frosting will hold up. Do you think it'll be fine for Saturday?
