AI am a beginning home baker and looking for lots of help! When I make cupcakes, they always seem to stick to the liner, making really only the tops edible. This happens with both box mix and from scratch. Am I under-baking them? Should I spray the liners? They are typically just paper liners, if that makes a difference. Thank you in advance!

idk really i'm not a big cupcaker but there are many threads on here that address this issue--which cupcake liners not cooperating would annoy the h out of me -- but anyhow if you do some searches you should be able to get some very good advise on this--

AUsually the liners shouls peel off, but its possible that it can stick. You may have undercooked them but you said that only the top is edible so i would assume they are cooked. This has nothing to do with cake mix or scratch. I would recommend Spraying your liners. if that doesnt work, buy your liners from different stores and brand

Hope i helped :)
