AThis will be the 6th cake I've ever made. A Halloween Birthday Cake for my cousins daughters 8th birthday. I've been searching the internet for lots of ideas. 2 of the cakes I've done were 2 tiered. I've got that part down. I don't know whether to make a small 2 tier cake for her or a larger normal round one. It's for 20 or so little girls. I really like the ideas on the tiered ones better. But think like an 8 and 6 or 10 and 6 is too big for those girls. Has anyone done a 4 inch in top? If so what size bottom would you recommend?

One more question, I want to make little figure pumpkins. What do you suggest I use? I have that Wiltons decorating dough. But would fondant be just as good? How long would they need to set out and dry?
