Hey everyone!

I could use some help with a Tacodile cake. A friend of mine has asked for a cake this Friday, so I don't have much time for gum paste... I'm just not sure how to incorporate this guy into a cake. It only needs to feed about 10. I have used modeling chocolate before, but don't have any experience in cake sculpting if that helps. If I made a figurine, i'm just not sure how the legs would be strong enough to hold him up.

What would you do?

Hmmm..., as a newbie and never having done this, I think I might buy plastic or ceramic peppers and superglue them to a custom cut cake board made of plastic or metal. I might try to think of something I could stick under his chin for additional support so he doesn't tip forward or his head snap off.

Looks to me like the cake itself is basically a round cake cut in half and rearranged?

Very imaginative! Love it!

AAwesome! I remember looking at the taco tutorial thinking 'hhhmmmmm I bet that doesn't get used often, can't be that many people wanting a taco cake'. And then came your question!! This forum is ace.
