AI've never done a beer barrel cake but I wanna make one for my father in law this Friday but I wanna use real beer bottle. Do I need to do something so it can hold the weight plz someone help

I did one last weekend.....my husband drank the beer...I replaced the caps...and they were super light.   Did not need any support.  He enjoyed helping me with this task.

ADo I have to remove the beer from the bottles it's just cuz I would like for it to be a treat afterwards but if I do then okay, and thanks for the reply
