Hi everyone!! I have some exciting news that NO ONE outside of cake world will understand or appreciate. For the first time in my baking life I have graduated from a hand mixer to a STAND mixer!! Hubby told me this morning as I dropped him off to work that he put some $ in the account and to go and buy one! So I did! And now it's sitting on my bench looking oh-so-professional and I'm about to go and try my first ever batch of SMBC! It's a Breville BEM410, so not top of the range or anything, but waaaaay better than my hand mixer! And it came with a bonus bowl as well. 

 

Today, I feel like a cake pro thumbs_up.gif

 

And if I excitedly told my friends or family they'd just give me that glazed, blank look that I get when I start talking cake. Lol!

Thankyou for all the love! I knew you would all understand :) It is soooo fast. I just made a batch of banana cupcakes while my butter softens up for my SMBC and it was all over and mixed and done before I knew what was happening! So cool.
