AI was wondering if anyone had any ideas I am making a baseball themed cake for a team windup. It needs to feed at least 100. Any ideas? I am not sure if I should just do a tiered or large sheet cake.

Hi Nahnepos, I'm not much help with ideas of a baseball cake (we don't have baseball in the UK) but if you search through the galleries at the top of this page, you're sure to find lots of ideas.  If it's not too daunting, I'd suggest doing a tiered cake - they always look more impressive than sheet cakes if you want to wow the guests!

Best of luck!

I did a baseball cake for my son's birthday.  It was a 9" square, you could certainly do a bigger square cake than that to get your 100 servings in.  I had did a baseball hat on the top.  You can see it in my pictures.  I've also don cupcakes to look like a mitt, they are in my pictures as well.  They were done for the end of the season party for his baseball team. But I've seen them done in cupcakes to represent a ball and a baseball field.  good luck!
