Hi. I'm doing a cake for my sister's birthday. She loves a cake from one bakery that uses marzipan to cover the cake instead of fondant (she doesn't like any fondant, not even MMF). I'm just wondering if you could cover a cake with marzipan, not using fondant on top of it. Will it get a smooth finish? Thank you so much!
