I want to make a crown royal bottle cake, but i am not sure about what i could use to make the diamond grooves. I saw a beautiful cake on flickr by Meg's Cake Gallery and I would really like the chance to attempt to make something close to her creation. Please Help!!!

AThis is one I did: http://www.verydeliciousdesserts.com/#!Crown-Royal/zoom/c11wr/image1bxr

You can also see it in my gallery. I rolled ropes or strings then lay them in place. When I covered with fondant, I made sure to pinch around the ropes & keep the definition.
