I've had Americolor food coloring for over 5 years? Does anyone know how long these things last?  Some of them turn kind of a liquid, very runny..some seem fine. Any idea?  Thanks!

*Long*, very long before Americolor came on the scene I had some bottles of color that were more than 25 yrs old and still in perfect condition. If your colors seem to be liquidy, just give them a good shake that should mix them up just fine. Now, if you have allowed sugar/icing to mix into the color, then it might make it liquify and therefore should not be used.  That would happen if you use a knife, toothpick or whatever to dip out color that had icing on it.
