I am making a cake for my granddaughter who is going to Australia as a student ambassador. I thought I would make a suitcase but wanted to put some things from Australia on it. Any suggestions?
I'm not from Australia, but when I think of Australia, all I can think of is sun, snakes, spiders and beer!
So how about putting a bottle of sunblock, a vial of anti-venom and some "tinnies" in the suitcase?

LOL!! I think this is most peoples impression of us Aussies! :D How about some kangaroos and koala's (even though its pretty rare to actually see a koala out in the wild...). Vegemite of course, haha. Some native Aussie flowers like the Wattle and Banksia. Sheep and tin shacks Floods and bushfires haha.
Great barrier reef, Uluru, Mt Warning, Parliament House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Sydney traffic jams What were those old stickers that used to get stuck to suitcases showing all the places you've been?? (I'm showing my youth here lol...) Maybe a bunch of them on the suitcase?

A student ambassador? Is she going to Canberra by any chance?
I like the idea of the koalas and kangaroos because we ride them to work and all lol
What about some tim tams or lamingtons, or pavlova... I love to eat all of them.
Or Ayres Rock or the sydney harbour bridge, we don't really have any big landmarks in melbourne...just a river and a big bay.
You could do like a map as well!
