AI made my first wedding cake recently for my brother and sister in law and they had their hearts set on the following cake by LVCC.

They wanted purple to suit their theme. As I am an amateur I was really nervous about taking on a project so intricate. LVCC do some amazing designs and it all looks immaculate. I decided not to do the polka dots but concentrate on the pressure piping lace design. Here is the finished product:-

Really surprised myself and I am really proud. Really want to get stuck into another project now!
AThanks, yes very addictive! Had totally under estimated the time it would take to stencil the lace design and pole through the tracing paper the rough outline to follow when piping. I couldn't believe how exhausted I was after completing it. I don't know how you professional bakers do it all the time!
Flo, I am very much a hobby baker...as my photos in the gallery will testify.....I agree the pro girls on here have amazing talent
