ADoes any one know if the cottage food law in Wyoming includes cake? It is a little vague. I have tried contacting CHS with no luck yet! I have already started selling cakes to friends (from home) and want to do things the right way. Also do I need a business license or anything like that. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I talked with Ben Metcalf at the CHS and he informed me that as long as I sell them directly to the final consumer and not through a business mediator then I do not need a license. Also, the private home kitchen is exempt from licensing and inspection. Hope that this helps if you have not heard anything yet.
