The decorations in the attached photo are for cupcakes. Half of the cupcakes will be frosted with baby blue buttercream. For the other half I'm debating whether to use vanilla buttercream tinted pale yellow, or a cocoa buttercream. What do you think????

ADo you know what the decorations for the shower are?

AIt's a simple little lunchtime shower at school for my daughters kindergarten teacher! So the cupcakes are probably the only decorations! But I'm anal so I want them to look amazing.

ALol.... I think the cocoa (brown) would look really sharp. What flavor are the cupcakes?

AYes, I would put the white ones on the blue frosted ones and the blue ones on a nice cocoa frosting.

AThat's what I was thinking. Thanks! Oh- and the cupcake flavors - I was going to make both vanilla and chocolate. Frost the chocolate with the blue buttercream, and the vanilla with the cocoa.

A]That sounds yummy what cute decorations you made!! Sometimes what I found looks good on cupcakes are little ribbons tied into bows around the cupcake liners. Just gives them a little finishing cutsie touch;)

AI love them! I think the brown would be super cute with the blue and white. A really nice touch.

AI would mix up the frosting/cake combos, hard to believe but there are some people who don't like chocolate.
