I've seen some really cute tin pails for cookie bouquets in the gallery and am wondering where I could get some for a good price. I'm specifically looking for black ones. the only ones I could find were 3.00 so I thought i'd ask and see if anyone had any links they want to share.
I appreciate ALL the help!!!
I've seen them at Michaels in the wedding favour section.
Also, try home depot as they sell small empties
I've also come across them at dollar stores.
Here's a link for some that are about $1 a piece http://www.orientaltrading.com/application?namespace=search&origin=searchMain.jsp&event=button.search&Ntt=tin+pail&Ntk=all&Ntx=mode%2Bmatchallpartial&N=0
Thanks so much for all the quick responses! I'm going to get some of those for other bouquets for Valentine's and stuff...thanks!
has anyone come across any black ones? I don't really have room to paint any so I'd really like to find some that are alreayd black if possible.
Thanks again for all of the help!
How about buying a silver one and once your have your bouquet in it, take some black fabric, tulle or black tissue paper and set pail in the center. Pull fabric or tissue paper up and lightly tie with ribbon just above the top of the pail.
I have used a small terra cotta flower pot and spray painted it.
I have seen them here at my local dollar tree... do you have those? Also at Michael's in the V-day decoration stuff!
Hobby Lobby usually has them with their seasonal stuff for a decent price.
I bought some adorable small red pails and white pails at Hobby Lobby right after Xmas for 80% off! I think I gave about $1 each or less! I knew I would use them for Valentines day. I will be looking for the valentine sale after valentines day and store them until I need red again, I thinking maybe for Mothers Day....Think ahead and make the sales and use coupons! I also bought adorable containers and baskets at Michaels for next Xmas for 80% off. I paid like $1.59 for items worth $6.99! It pays to shop the sales!
