Hi All!

I desperately need some help...I have Spiderman cupcakes to make this weekend and have been so flat out with work and cakes I haven't had time to make the decorations.

I bought this Spiderman face mould but am not 100% sure on the best way to make them. I assume I should make them out of fondant with some hardening agent mixed in (might just have enough gum paste to make 20 of them), let them dry for a few days and then paint the red and black details on? I have red petal dust that I was going to use mixed with alcohol and do the same with the black.

Someone suggested making them out of red fondant and then cutting out the black and white eyes but that just went in the 'too hard' basket for me.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

I think it would be easier to make it with red fondant, cut out the white and then paint on the black details!

Give modeling chocolate a try.  It is easy to make and will hold its shape much easier.
