ACan you leave frostings with yogurt at room temperature? Say if I were to add yogurt to buttercream? I've read somewhere that the sugar in buttercream can preserve milk in buttercream so I'm wondering if this applies for yogurt as well?

TIA!

i don't know for sure--it's unique to each formula

for family sure--they would eat it quickly enough that it wouldn't be a problem

for an event for someone else--i would not risk it myself

say somebody served some bad potato salad at the same event

and so all the food providers were questioned

i would want to say wholeheartedly that i provided the most carefully safequarded product possible

sure sure we want to have it taste the best too but safety first always imo
