Ok. Advice greatly appreciated. I am doing a 1 tiered cake that will be 1 layer vanilla, 1 layer chocolate. The customer wants light pink marshmallow fondant with whatever chocolate icing inside. I usually BC all of my cakes. First, if I do a chocolate BC, will it show through the pink fondant? I don't really have a WOW chocolate icing recipe so I was thinking of trying ganache, but have questions?
When doing ganache, what do you usually use for filling? What do you suggest I fill the cake with so it goes with both flavors and ganache?
Does ganache pair well with marsh fondant?
And again, will it show through the pink?
I know white ganache is an option but in case customer turns it down
