Lemon Burst cheesecake

 

this is for a 10"

 

32 oz cream cheese

1 cup sugar

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons lemon zest

4 eggs

 

Lemon Curd

2 large eggs

2 large egg yolks

1/2 cup sugar

1 tablespoon finely grated lemon zest

1/2 cup fresh lemon juice

1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces

 1/4 cup sour cream

 

Coconut Crust

1 1/2 cups sweetened flaked coconut

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 large egg white, at room temperature

Peppercorns I love fruit cake.  I use an Australian Women's Weekly recipe and it is one of the few recipes in my life that I make continually.  Usually I like to keep trying new recipes but I don't think fruitcake comes any better than this one with the adaptations that I have made.

I may be late to the bread party... but I have a great recipe for Sourdough and then I make Killer Bee Honey Butter... hot out of the oven with the melting butter TO DIE FOR....

I have 2 one is a pink lemonade with a lemon butter cream that i do as cupcakes too... The other is a banana cake w a brown sugar banana cream filling... Now i have to go make some cupcakes yummy !!!!icon_smile.gif

Hello everyone,  oh fresh honey and sourdough bread, with melted butter,yummmmmmmicon_biggrin.gif, I cheat I use my bread making machine more than I bake cakes really,oh I baked a heavy fruit cake yesterday and using both brandy and rum, can hardly wait to eat it!icon_twisted.gif. Ever wonder if I am double my weight now? Maybe one day I will post my before cake and bread indulgence and after..icon_lol.gif He, he
