Hi gang
I'm ordering a cooling rack for the bakery and am looking at the wire cooling grids.. I don't understand the spacing stuff on the website I'm looking to order from.. I've copied and pasted two different descriptions in the hope one of you can help poor old simple me x
762 x 457 Flat grid (50x50) BZP for cooling / processing.
30"x18" (2x2)
762 x 457 Flat grid (5x0.5) BZP for placing cooling / processing.
30"x18"(5 x 0.5)
Can you post a link where I can see the two cooling racks? How much are they, and have you looked for used racks?
Some cooling racks are intended for bread, with large spaces to allow loaves to cool fast with good airflow in between.
Some cooling racks are intended for cookies and small baked goods that would fall out between the holes of a bread cooling rack.
Look for an online catalogue that shows you pictures of what these different options are. Or call the sales rep for an info sheet with pictures. Then purchase what your business really needs.
