Buttercream!

Everytime I make buttercream it has holes in it. Not sure if that makes sense, but when i spread it, it doesn't seem smooth but with holes. I tried making it not as thick but it still doesn't eliminate the "holes". Help!!!!

It sounds like you are 1) over whipping it OR 2) making too small of a batch OR 3) not mixing it long enough OR it's too dry - not creamy enough icon_sad.gif

It's airy. If your mixer bowl isn't full to the top of the beater, you're incorporating air.
