Wasc Recipe With Duncan Hines Decadent Mix?

I noticed the DH Decadent Cake mix and was wondering if anyone has tried them with the wasc recipe? How was it? I googled and found nothing and I can't get the CC search button to work.

Sorry, I have not seen that type of cake mix. Don't know how it differs from a 'regualr' mix.

Thanks Kakeladi. I will have to look at the box and compare it to a regular boxnof DH.

Anyone else use this mix with wasc recipe.

I've used it without making any changes and didn't see a difference.

Hi trebakes,
I'm confused by your answer. You didn't see any differences as compared to what? I want to make some changes by using the WASC recipe, but not sure how this works with the DH Decadent Mix.

My daughter made the carrot cake flavor when these first hit the shelf.
Pretty good for a box mix.
However... the addition of all the WASC ingredients would just water down the "decadent" additions in the mix.
Kinda pointless, IMHO.

Kakeladi I never did compare the 2 different mixes. I did go ahead and use the wasc recipe with the DH Decadent mix. I also add more chocolate chips to the batter. I think it came out pretty good. I will find out next week when it gets eaten. It is going to a party at the Tiki Resort in Lake George, NY next week. icon_biggrin.gif
